Description
Inspired the 1950's canine head transplantation experiments by Vladimir Demikhov.
There's very neat footage of his experiments and their results available online if you look it up. Of course, be forewarned it may be upsetting to those sensitive to body horror, gore, unethical experiments (the dogs are treated pretty well when they're not experimenting on them - they play with them and pet them and stuff), etc., but it is quite impressive and interesting nonetheless.

This is really interesting. I love the green tones and overall eeriness of it as a whole.
I don't think I'd be able to watch the video's of it (can't even get past the first few minutes of The Plague Dogs, and that's animated), but I looked it up in general, and it's really interesting how far life can go in manipulation and the drive to survive, even when surgically put on another being.
