I realized that, since November last year, I have written three journal entries. That is silly, because they are boring to look at forever. So I'm writing a new one.

National Novel Writing Month is amazing (now that I'm over the 20,000 word hill)!

For those who haven't heard about it, here: [link] . Basically, the goal is to write a 50,000 word novel in the space of one month (November). For a bit of context, I ended up with around 180 pages (double spaced, 12 point, Times) of pure novel last year. I'm continuing the same book this year, and hoping to finish it off.

It gets very, very hard in the second week, but once I hit around 20,000 words I get excited about it again. That's riiiight where I am right now, thankfully.

So I don't have too much to say about this, except that I think it's great and everyone should do it at least once.

I can't find the other journal that I wrote about commissions in, so I'm re-writing it all.

Sketchies/pencil art: somewhere in the neighborhood $5 - $10
Inked: around $8 - $15
Colored: $8 - 30 (watercolor, colored pencil, photoshop, etc)

Full backgrounds are likely bring up the price a lot, as are extra-complex poses or multiple complex characters.

Other madness? I'm not sure. I just got a whole bunch of new music, which is excellent. I probably won't be uploading much art for a while, unless my AP studio art teacher sends me some of the files for pieces I've done in that class.

I'm working on a commission for Devon, and an on-going commission for Jenna ( )
